Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights (SHR)
This is an educational resource providing information about sexual health and rights. The two websites linked below are about “The Types of Sexually Transmitted Infections,” and “Safer Sex and Assessing Risk.” SHR provides easy-to-use information with drop-down definitions and explanations of STIs as well as methods to reduce the chances of getting or passing STIs. Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a supportive fellowship open to anyone seeking help with the overuse and abuse of alcohol. It provides a space for individuals to share their experiences and support each other in recovery. The BC and Yukon AA website offers information on meetings, including dates, times, and locations. There are no fees or membership requirements to join.

British Columbia Region of Narcotics Anonymous - Whitehorse Group
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a fellowship of individuals who support each other in recovering from substance use through complete abstinence. Open to anyone with a desire to stop using harmful substances, NA provides meetings and resources to help maintain sobriety. While NA primarily focuses on BC, there is a weekly Yukon-wide virtual meeting every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom (Meeting ID: 999 759 3884). There are also in-person meetings in Whitehorse - check the map and schedule on their website to learn more.

Civil Emergency Measures Act
In the Yukon, municipalities are obligated to establish emergency plans in accordance with The Civil Emergency Measures Act, 2002. This legislation requires that municipalities establish an Emergency Management Committee, appoint an Emergency Coordinator, and prepare an emergency plan

Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN)
The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) offers a wide range of services to support Yukon First Nations communities. These include language and wellness centers, family preservation services, natural resources, and so much more. They also provide support under Jordan’s Principle, ensuring First Nations children have equitable access to essential services.
