Child Development Centre (CDC)

Provides complimentary support to children from birth to age 5 and their families in Whitehorse and all Yukon communities. Available services include physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and developmental therapy. Families can contact the CDC with any developmental questions or concerns about their child. The center is open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Child, Youth, and Family Treatment Team (CYFTT) offers free counselling and support services to school-aged children, youth, and families in Yukon. Services include rapid access counselling, clinical counselling, clinical outreach, child and youth outreach groups, and a youth outreach clinic. Appointments can be booked by texting or calling 867-335-1728, with drop-in times available on Mondays and Wednesdays.
